Our last day in Granada was spent very leisurely. We slept in and then walked to Plaza Nueva and had cafe con leche and orange juice. Afterwards we went shoipping for a bit. I got the most wonderful purple tapestry for my room, ahh I love it. I had absolutely no room for it what so ever but the pack is stuffed and everything fits.
We had lunch and are finally managing to order tap water haha it took awhile to figure out what to say. After shopping we went back to where we had breakfast and had the best guacamole and chips with sangria. Alicia planned out everything she has to do when she gets back and mom and I wrote postcards.
Then we went back to the hostel and read our books and napped. We ate the rest of our pasta salad packed and got ready.
We went and watched a flamenco show at La Chien Andalou which is the club where the teacher of a man who works at our hostel plays. They make a delicious mojito and we got a free tapa with our drinks. Granada is one of the few cities in Spain that still sticks to that old tradition.
The performance was amazing but we had terrible seats that hurt our backs. We had tea by our hostel and went back around 1 and read and went to sleep because we had to get up early today.
We are on a train now to cadiz where we plan on laying on the beach till we shrivel up and eating whatever someone will bring us haha. We definitely need a break some of these cities have so much to do.
I come home soon, bittersweet, but I am going to be ready.
The new train album, the entire thing is wonderful. Also discovered Ben Harper is the one artist I have found continuity with between all the places I have been or people I have met.
