Great Day With Lizzy

Today I drove down to Marysville with Lizzy after class. It was a really great afternoon. I got to meet Mr. Stoke, Lizzy's high school counselor who I have heard so much about. Then we dropped my car off becuase her dad was going to fix my brakes for me. I am so thankful that he was able to do that. Lizzy and I drove her brothers 65' camaro to Alderwood Mall and did some shopping and it was hilarious. That car made our trip. Came home ate left over curry, did homework, and watched the parent trap. lovely night.

late night thoughts on life

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Lovely Weekend

This weekend was a lot of fun. I got to see Matt finally which was nice, and we did some fun things. Friday Kaely, Savannah, and I met Matt and his roomates at the Hip Hop showcase. It was really awesome and I was very impressed with the WWUHHDT. Afterwards we were going to go to Matts friends house but ended up just staying at Matts and taking it easy. Saturday we made banana and nutella crepes and went to get our cars fixed. Bad news there both of them are going to be pretty spendy. That night we went to a formal held by Matt's rugby team which was hilarious. Church today now homework and dinner. Overall it was a lovely weekend.

This week I have nothing to do except keep up on my work. I love it.

Also I am applying the love your enemies rule to my life and am going to be nicer to a certain someone. Doesn't mean we have to be friends because I know that isn't something I want or should happen, but I at least should be nice while they are still part of my life.

Boulevard

Right now I am sitting in The Woods after running the boardwalk with April eating my lunch and doing homework. It was a really great run and I feel fantastic, and am now enjoying wasabi peas because they are the best snack ever. I think these might be Kaely's... oops. I'll buy her more. Also The Woods is playing Frank Sinatra, it is perfection. The weather is lovely today and it makes me excited for this weekend and all the time I have to play. We are having small group here tonight at Boulevard and I have a feeling it is going to be really special. We are going over the book Crazy Love and chapter four is right up my alley. It is about being a lukewarm Christian which I hate to admit it, but I am some of the times. I get all fired up after trips such as Malibu, yet a few months later slowly start to cool off. I need to figure out how to live fired up all the time. (Matt would enjoy that analogy) In all honesty I know the changes I need to make but struggle with giving over control to God. Something I really need to work on.

Happy Earth Day!

buy one get one $0.25 blizzard night

We just got back from getting blizzards. They were delicious, so worth ruining my workout over. And by workout I mean my sixteen minutes of abs haha We had Haleigh over for dinner tonight which was really fun. It was nice to see her again and catch up. We discovered we had quite a bit in common with roommate situations. I have been in a really great mood all week and I just got happier today. There are so many things I wish I could be doing right now, so much more of an impact I could be making... Oh well I guess I have to wait till Malibu =) which I am so excited for

triscuits, music, hope, and risotto

I am making risotto with romano cheese a herb rubbed chicken for dinner, hopefully it will be better than last nights. I'm sitting here waiting for the chicken to marinate and thinking about how this whole blog thing still really weirds me out even though I know no one is reading it yet. I listened to Lizzy and Thad work on a song today and it was beautiful. I am constantly amazed at the amount of talent that surrounds me. Also my girls got their house for next year which makes me really happy for them. God is so good. This might become how I avoid doing my homework... oh well. This quarter is fairly easy for me so maybe I did need something else.

All in all this is good practice for when I am in another country and don't feel like calling people, even though it is a bit odd now.
I am ordering my TOMS this week and am very excited but I cant decide on what color I want.

My First

So I am starting this because I feel I have a lot to say, and I need a way to keep those I love informed while I am in Spain. Practice makes perfect right?

This week I have nothing to do... therefore I am slacking on everything.

Bob is very worried about how things are going to work out while I am gone this summer, and we had an hour long discussion about it today. If you don't know about Bob he is the ex G.I. I run errands for and has become a big part of my life. He drives me insane 85% of the time, but in the end we work out well. On the topic of Spain, I got even more excited today when I started looking up hostels, but I'm starting to like the idea of not making reservations and just going... we'll see.

Last weekend was perfect, and I finally got myself to the tulip festival! I played around with my new camera a bit and got a few good pictures.

Also after many people telling me to listen to them, I finally downloaded music by Mumford and Son and I'm a bit obsessed.

Last note: I am horrible at making Phad Thai
