Hola Peru

So we made it!  After a few long flights, a forgotten camera battery (thanks for mailing it mom), and the fact that I never re-sync my ipod we made it to our overnight hostel by the airport.  We had a reserved a three bed private room which was SO necessary because we were exhausted and due to layovers didnt get here till around 1.  Our hostel itself is really nice but the neighborhood by the airport is sketchy, I am glad we are only here one night while in transition.  We are all up and showered now and are killing time till our taxi comes to take us to the airport at 4.  We are leaving for Iquitos!!!  Iquitos is the major city that sits on the Peruivian portion of the Amazon river.  In Iquitos we are staying in a floating hostel which may or may not have been a good idea due to recent high levels of the Amazon, experiencing the culture, and going on a tour through the Amazon jungle.  Crazy to think that is where I´ll be for my 22nd birthday.  Depending on internet access I will try and keep you guys up to date, but I will post pictures for sure!
